Attorneys. Partners. For you.

legalpartner.berlin is a partner-managed commercial law firm specialising in advising German companies and international clients that do or plan to do business in Germany.

We are six German Attorneys-at-Law with a wealth of professional experience in international commercial law firms and companies. Five of us used to work at the German offices of Swedish law firm Mannheimer Swartling, during which time we helped navigate many German subsidiaries of international clients through the German law system. The majority of our clients have a Scandinavian or other international background, but we also represent many German medium-sized companies looking to grow their business in Germany or abroad.

legalpartner.berlin advises clients throughout Germany. We specialise in corporate and contract law, real estate law, litigation and arbitration, employment law, competition law, and M&A. We can advise you on establishing a business and are at your side to provide ongoing legal assistance. We value a personal approach that gives you direct access to one of our experienced lawyers at any time. We work with you in English, German and Swedish.

We set great store by trust-based relationships, both among ourselves and in particular with our clients. Our team is made up of experienced lawyers, all of whom work independently, take direct responsibility in advising you, and are interested in establishing long-term client relationships not driven by hourly rates or minimum fees. An affordable cost structure makes it possible for us to match our advisory fees to clients and their briefs.

legalpartner.berlin was established in 2015 as a cooperative network of independent lawyers by German Attorney-at-Law Jürgen Busch, a long-standing partner at Mannheimer Swartling, and German and Swedish Attorney-At-Law Dr Truls Hebrant. German Attorney-at-Law Dr Jan Valentin Deichsel joined us in early 2016, following several years working for an international legal firm in Vietnam. The current team also includes German Attorneys-at-Law Ulf Lohrum, Roland Weiss, and Alexander von Kleist, who joined in the second half of 2016. legalpartner.berlin has been relaunched as a joint law-firm in January 2018.
