  • Merger control: review of notification requirements and risk assessments, merger control proceedings at the German Federal Cartel Office (), and coordination of notifications in other jurisdictions in association with local counsels.

  • Cartel proceedings: representation of companies during cartel proceedings at the Federal Cartel Office and advice on leniency applications, holding of internal investigations during cartel proceedings initiated by the European Commission and the Federal Cartel Office in association with external service providers, e.g. KrollOntrack, coordination of defence strategies for submission to criminal prosecution authorities together with defence lawyers.

  • Compliance: internal audits, including internal investigations together with external service providers, e.g. KrollOntrack, and staff interviews, advice on creating and implementing compliance programmes, including staff training.
